SLNA gives opportunities to two young talents in the V-League

SLNA Club has chosen to elevate two young players, Minh Hợi and Tấn Minh, to the senior squad to gain match experience in the V-League 2025/26.

In preparation for the challenging second half of the season at V-League 2025/26, the coaching staff of Song Lam Nghe An Club has decided to give chances to two young faces, Nguyễn Tấn Minh and Hoàng Minh Hợi, officially promoting them to the first team.

Hoàng Minh Hợi made a strong impression at the 2026 National U19 finals. The 2007-born center-back not only demonstrated solid defense but also surprised with his effective attacking support, scoring 4 goals to become the tournament’s top scorer.

Meanwhile, Nguyễn Tấn Minh played a significant role in the U19 SLNA’s journey. Despite suffering an injury during the qualifiers, the young defender recovered in time for the finals and quickly regained form.

After the first half of the season, SLNA has 13 points and ranks 9th on the table. In round 13, just before the Tet Lunar New Year break, coach Văn Sỹ Sơn’s team unexpectedly defeated Viettel’s The Cong with a score of 4-1, providing the team with a significant boost of motivation for the tough road ahead.

Returning to the topic, boldly using young players not only helps the Nghe An team expand their options for the decisive phase but also reflects a long-term plan to build a successor generation. SLNA is known for its well-structured youth training system and has produced many Vietnamese football talents.
