Inter Miami has officially revealed their new away kit, the outfit that Lionel Messi and his teammates will wear across all competitions throughout the 2026 season.
As they continue preseason preparations, Lionel Messi's Inter Miami has officially launched the new alternate jersey to be used in the 2026 campaign. Current MLS Cup champions announced this kit, marking a new chapter as they get ready to move into a modern, world-class home stadium.
The jersey features a dominant black tone, crafted from fabric with a unique woven pattern, accented by vibrant pink highlights—colors that have been emblematic of the club since its inception. The chest displays the club’s logo alongside a silver star symbolizing the 2025 MLS Cup victory. The shirt is designed with a buttoned collar, and inside the collar is printed the phrase “Freedom to Dream.”
Inter Miami confirmed the kit “Presagio” will make its debut on the pitch this week, on February 13th, when they face Ecuador’s Independiente del Valle in Puerto Rico. However, this match was postponed due to Messi suffering a muscle injury during a friendly against Barcelona SC.

— Inter Miami CF (@InterMiamiCF) February 11, 2026“A unique entrance. Presagio is ready,” the club shared in a launch video on social media. Inter Miami will begin their title defense journey on February 22nd (Vietnam time) with a notable away match against LAFC at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
In Spanish, “presagio” means “omen” or “premonition”. Inter Miami chose this name for their 2026 alternate kit to express the atmosphere and tension they create whenever stepping onto an opponent’s field.
“This name reflects the anticipation and intensity that Inter Miami CF’s presence brings. There’s always a special energy when Inter Miami arrives at an away stadium. The atmosphere tightens. Everything changes,” the club stated in the official announcement. “Presagio is not about a prediction but about presence. It represents how the team plays on the road: calm, confident, and assured.”
While fans eagerly await the new season kickoff, the most anticipated event remains the opening of the club’s new stadium. However, they will have to wait a few more weeks as Inter Miami will play five consecutive away games while the stadium construction enters its final phase.
That historic moment will take place on April 5th, during matchday six. Inter Miami will host Austin FC in the inaugural game at Miami Freedom Park, marking the first time in the club’s history that players and fans gather under their official home roof in Miami.
