Liverpool continued their impressive form by defeating Brighton 3-0 in the 4th round of the FA Cup, in the match held at Anfield early on February 15 (Vietnam time). This convincing victory earned Liverpool a spot in the 5th round and highlighted the clear impact of coach Arne Slot.
Right from the kickoff, the visiting team showed confidence under the guidance of coach Fabian Hurzeler. Brighton pressed high aggressively, causing difficulties for Liverpool and creating several notable chances in the first 20 minutes. However, the home side gradually regained control through strong ball possession and quick attacks down both wings.
