Vietnamese-Canadian midfielder Camilo Minh shared interesting insights after his initial period playing for Hai Phong FC.

Reflecting on his first steps in the Vietnamese National Championship, Camilo Minh said: "It’s truly amazing, as you know, this is my family’s homeland, so I’m very happy to play here for the rest of the season."
"The past few days have been wonderful. My impression is that the players here are very talented. The coaching staff has also supported me a lot. I’m truly grateful to be here," Camilo Minh added.
Talking about Hai Phong fans who always passionately support the coastal city team, Minh said: "At the first match I attended, I sat among the fans here. The energy they bring really fired up the team. The atmosphere here is truly special."
When asked about his goals playing in Vietnam, the player born in 2005 emphasized: "My goal is to contribute to the team, whether by scoring, assisting, or simply fulfilling my role well on the field. I really want to stay connected to this place and am ready to play."
Camilo Minh born on May 19, 2005 in Vietnam, with a father of Portuguese-Canadian descent and a Vietnamese mother. He developed in the Canadian football environment, having competed in League 1 Ontario and the Canadian Premier League for York United and HFX Wanderers. Although mostly coming off the bench, Camilo Minh is highly regarded for his speed, technique, and versatility across multiple attacking positions.
