FIFA sends Lunar New Year greetings to Vietnamese football

The FIFA President and Secretary-General extend Lunar New Year greetings to the Vietnam Football Federation and Chairman Trần Quốc Tuấn.

On the occasion of Vietnam’s traditional Bính Ngọ Lunar New Year 2026, FIFA President Gianni Infantino and FIFA Secretary-General Mattias Grafström have sent New Year greetings to the Vietnam Football Federation and its Chairman Trần Quốc Tuấn.

Vietnam Football Federation Chairman Trần Quốc Tuấn currently serves as a member of FIFA’s National Team Competitions Committee, an Executive Member of the Asian Football Confederation, and Head of the AFC Competitions Committee.

At the sacred moment when the Vietnamese people joyfully welcome the Bính Ngọ Lunar New Year on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, along with billions worldwide, on behalf of the international football community, FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Secretary-General Mattias Grafström sent their best wishes to Vietnamese football and Chairman Trần Quốc Tuấn. President Infantino wished all members of the Vietnamese football family a new year filled with good health, happiness, success, and luck.
