Midfielder Jude Bellingham is reportedly willing to depart Real Madrid if the club appoints a globally renowned coach.
According to Football 365, Jude Bellingham is said to have reached a preliminary agreement to leave Real Madrid and join Manchester United this summer, provided that Jurgen Klopp is appointed as the head coach of the Spanish royal club.
Sources confirm that this transfer depends entirely on Klopp’s arrival at Santiago Bernabeu. If the German manager does not take over Real Madrid, Bellingham will remain at the club. This is seen as a precautionary move by the English midfielder.
The 2003-born star does not want to wait for a new coach to redefine his role or reduce his influence within the squad. Instead, Bellingham wants to proactively ensure he remains a key figure in a long-term project. Manchester United is reportedly ready to offer him that status, along with a central role in the team structure, similar to his influence at Real Madrid.
The context leading to this potential departure stems from a turbulent season at Real Madrid. Xabi Alonso was dismissed in January following a poor run of results, while internal locker room unrest is said to have emerged. Some key players, including Bellingham and Vinicius, are reportedly dissatisfied with Alonso’s tactical approach and management style.
Although Real Madrid has appointed Alvaro Arbeloa as the first-team coach, rumors about Klopp possibly joining Bernabeu continue to circulate in Spanish media. There are even reports that Klopp himself has personnel demands if he agrees to lead the club.
Since joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2023, Jude Bellingham has appeared in a total of 128 matches, contributing 44 goals and 32 assists. His impressive and consistent performances have helped the English international and the royal club secure numerous prestigious titles, including the Champions League, La Liga 2023/24, as well as the UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup in the 2024/25 season.
