From a sharp combination, Kasper Høgh flicked the ball to Sondre Brunstad Fet, who calmly beat Yann Sommer to open the scoring amid an erupting crowd.

Inter responded strongly. Matteo Darmian hit the post, Nicolò Barella missed a clear chance, before Pio Esposito equalized in the 30th minute after chaos in the penalty area. Both sides had more chances before halftime, but the goalkeepers remained focused.
