The lineup for the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26 quarterfinals was officially finalized on Thursday following the end of the Round of 16. As per the fixture, the first legs are set for March 3–5, and the return legs will occur the following week.
The highlight of the quarterfinals is the clash between Al Wasl and Al Nassr. The Saudi Arabian side advanced comfortably by defeating FK Arkadag with an aggregate score of 2-0, extending their winning streak in continental competition this season to 8 matches and establishing themselves as top contenders for the title.
Meanwhile, Al Wasl demonstrated resilience by overcoming Al Zawraa SC 6-5 on aggregate after extra time, gaining strong momentum heading into this significant encounter.
In another matchup, Al Ahli SC will face Al Hussein. The Qatari team needed an additional 30 minutes to defeat Sepahan FC after a 2-2 draw over two legs in the Round of 16, scoring the decisive goal early in extra time.
On the other hand, Al Hussein made a strong impression by eliminating Esteghlal FC with a 4-2 aggregate score to reach the quarterfinals.
The Japanese Representative Gamba Osaka is also full of confidence after edging past Pohang Steelers with a 3-2 aggregate. In the quarterfinals, they will face Ratchaburi FC, who eliminated Persib Bandung with a 3-1 aggregate score.
Another notable fixture is the battle between Bangkok United and Tampines Rovers. The Thai side reached this stage after defeating Macarthur FC with a 4-2 aggregate score.
Meanwhile, Tampines made a big splash by knocking out CAHN with a commanding 6-1 aggregate score. The Singaporean club aims to surpass last season’s runner-up achievement for their country’s football.
