Manchester United prospect Chiedozie Obi was demoted to the youth team this season to gain experience. Obi, who represents Denmark’s youth national team, hopes to replace the likely departing forward Zirkzee next season as a backup striker for the first team. Confused, the staff still escorted Jacey Carrick away, but the misunderstanding was quickly cleared up, allowing him to return to wait for his father. Jacey frequently attends away matches for Manchester United. Notably, his father, during his playing days, also sometimes supported the Red Devils from the away fans’ stands rather than the VIP box.
