On the afternoon of February 25, the Myanmar futsal team suffered their second defeat against Australia with a score of 1-6, effectively ending their hopes in the tournament early. Reflecting on this match, Coach Wa Ka Wai acknowledged the opponent as a high-quality team and described the game as an important learning experience for the Myanmar futsal players:

In the final match on February 26, the Myanmar futsal team will face Vietnam, currently ranked second in the standings.
