Pham Ly Duc explains the reason for leaving CAHN to join PVF-CAND

Center-back Pham Ly Duc mentioned that transferring to PVF-CAND will give him increased chances to play, helping him to assert his abilities with confidence.

On February 25, center-back Pham Ly Duc officially joined PVF-CAND club to compete in the second half of the 2025/26 V-League season. The 2003-born player had his first training session with his new teammates that very afternoon.

Sharing his feelings about joining the new club, Ly Duc said: "First of all, I want to greet the fans of PVF - CAND football club. The reason I came here is because I want more playing time, to get on the field more often, thereby showing my skills and gaining more experience to develop."

Talking about his first training session with the new team on the afternoon of February 25, Ly Duc said: "On the first day, I integrated very quickly; everyone was friendly, sociable, and helped me a lot.

Fortunately, here I have many teammates from the Vietnam U23 team like Nhan, Bac, Quan... We understand each other well because we have played together in many tournaments. Now I'm lucky to be back with them."

Regarding his personal and team goals at the new club, Ly Duc emphasized: "Our goal, both mine and the club’s, is to play unitedly and improve our ranking on the table. My personal aim is to get as much playing time as possible, contribute, help the team gain points, and have a chance to be called up to the Vietnam national team."

Finally, the 2003-born center-back shared a special memory about joining PVF-CAND: "In 2016, I was released from PVF, and now in 2026, I have the opportunity to come back. Because of that, I am very eager and have many ambitions with PVF-CAND. I will dedicate myself fully to this club."

This weekend, Ly Duc will travel with PVF-CAND to face SHB Da Nang in the 14th round of the V-League.
