Closing Ceremony of the 2026 Women's Football Club Licensing Workshop

The 2026 Women's Football Club Licensing Workshop, jointly held by VFF and FIFA, has been successfully completed.

The 2026 Women's Football Club Licensing Workshop, co-organized by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and FIFA, concluded successfully at noon on February 25, 2026. The workshop was held to implement the roadmap for professionalization and sustainable development of Vietnamese women's football, aligning with FIFA's priority directions and AFC's requirements.

Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Pham Ngoc Vien – Head of the VFF Licensing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hai Huong – Deputy Head of the VFF Licensing Appeals Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – VFF Deputy General Secretary, Head of the Licensing Administration Division; members of the Licensing Committee, Licensing Appeals Committee, Licensing Administration Division, and representatives from 5 localities/women's football clubs.

The 2026 Women's Football Club Licensing Workshop, co-organized by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and FIFA, concluded successfully at noon on February 25, 2026. The workshop was conducted to carry out the professionalization and sustainable development plan for Vietnamese women's football, in accordance with FIFA's strategic priorities and AFC's stipulations.

Notably, the workshop featured online instruction from Mr. Simon Toselli and Ms. Natcha Tarateerasarn – FIFA Women's Football Technical Experts. Within the working agenda on the afternoon of February 24 and the morning of February 25, participants were introduced to an overview of licensing activities in Vietnam;

the strategic development direction for women's football with key criteria groups such as infrastructure, finance, legal aspects, as well as updates on FIFA's global women's club licensing models and implementation experiences. The workshop marks a significant step forward in refining the women's football club licensing system, aiming to enhance professionalism, transparency, and sustainable growth for Vietnamese women's football in the coming period.
