Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang mentioned that the whole squad has carefully analyzed the Thai team ahead of the Southeast Asian futsal semifinal.
On February 28th, the Vietnamese women's futsal team will compete in the Southeast Asian semifinal against Thailand. Speaking ahead of the match, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said: “Today is the first day the team prepares for the semifinal. We must train well and help the players recover physically, as they have played three consecutive matches in three days."
Adding more about the opponent, Coach Dinh Hoang shared: "Last night, we learned we would face Thailand. The players are all confident, and the whole team has studied and analyzed the Thai squad. We have identified some points we can exploit to our advantage. We'll see you again in tomorrow's match.”
“Thailand has had more rest time because they only played one match and had more recovery time. Meanwhile, we have played three consecutive matches with only one day of rest. But we had anticipated this scenario in our pre-tournament plan. I believe the players will adapt, and we will give our best effort,”the Vietnamese strategist added.
Finally, the strategist expressed great respect for the host team: “Thailand has played two matches without conceding a goal and scored 11 times. That shows the quality of the team. Each player is of a similar high level. It's a very strong collective. And for me, their most outstanding player is captain Darika Piarnailun,” Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang assessed.
