Thai coach Prasobchoke Chokemor has been officially appointed as the head coach of the Chinese Taipei women's national team for the Asian Championship finals.
Just before the commencement of the 2026 Women's Asian Cup finals, the Thaicoach, Mr. Prasobchoke Chokemor, was formally appointed as the head coach of the Chinese Taipei women's national football team. Previously, he had served as the interim head coach since September 2025, following the resignation of Chan Hiu Ming.
Mr. Prasobchoke holds the AFC Pro License professional coaching diploma along with the AFC Goalkeeping Coach Certificate. In the past, he served as an assistant coach and goalkeeping coach for the Thailand men's U23 national team, bringing valuable international experience to this role.
During his time working in Taiwan, he also contributed to the development of several national youth teams, including women's and men's U17 and U20 squads—demonstrating his broad influence on the country's football structure.
At the 2026 Asian Cup Finals, Chinese Taipei is placed in the same group as India, Japan, and Vietnam. Speaking ahead of the tournament, the Thai strategist stated:
"Currently, Japan is ranked first in Asia, Vietnam is sixth, Taiwan (China) is seventh, and India is right behind us," Coach Prasobchoke said. "Overall, we have a significant opportunity to advance to the next round. However, every football match is different, and we have thoroughly analyzed each opponent. Our primary goal at this stage is to reach the quarter-finals. We will give our utmost effort and hope the fans will continue to support the Taiwan (China) women's national football team."
