Vietnamese Women's Team Arrives in Australia, Determined to Go Far in Asian Tournament

This morning (Feb 28), Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team officially landed in Perth (Australia) with high spirits and eagerness to compete in the important international tournament.

The team's flight touched down at 8:50 a.m. (local time). Despite the long journey, all team members maintained an optimistic attitude, showing strong determination to prepare for the upcoming challenges.

Upon arrival at the airport, the team received a warm welcome from the Vietnamese Consulate General in Australia, along with a large crowd of fans waiting to show their support and cheer for the Golden Girls. Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Consul General of Vietnam in Australia was present to greet and encourage the entire team.

After completing procedures and traveling to the hotel, the team members quickly settled in at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel, about a 25-minute bus ride from the airport.

In a cheerful and lively atmosphere, the team began preparations for the training session scheduled for this evening, aiming to maintain peak physical condition and competitive spirit ahead of the crucial upcoming matches.

Vietnamese Women's Team will face the Indian Women's Team (March 4), the Chinese Taipei Women's Team (March 7), and the Japanese Women's Team (March 10). The matches will take place at Perth Rectangular Stadium.
