V-League Football Results: A stunning long-range shot forces HAGL to share points; Xuan Son contributes to the home team's victory.

Today's V-League football results (March 13): HAGL staged a thrilling goal chase against SHB Da Nang, while Xuan Son contributed to Nam Định Club's win over Thanh Hóa Club.

The match between SHB Da Nang and HAGL in Round 16 of the V-League 2025/2026 unfolded excitingly with many notable developments and ended with a 3-3 draw.

Right after the opening whistle, SHB Da Nang proactively attacked and soon created several dangerous opportunities. In the 11th minute, Dinh Duy opened the scoring for the home team after a controlled move and precise shot near the penalty area.

After conceding the goal, HAGL attempted to push forward their formation to find an equalizer but faced many difficulties against SHB Da Nang's disciplined play. Goalkeeper Van Toan also performed excellently, particularly in blocking Batista's close-range shot in the 39th minute. It seemed the match would end with a victory for the visitors, but in the 90+7th minute, Van Son unleashed a cannon-like long-range shot forcing HAGL goalkeeper Trung Kien to retrieve the ball from the net. Ultimately, SHB Da Nang drew 3-3 with HAGL to continue their hope of staying in the league. On the standings, SHB Da Nang ranks 13th with 12 points.

Meanwhile, Nam Định Club defeated Thanh Hóa Club 1-0 at Thiên Trường Stadium in a match full of drama in the second half. The first half was quite open but neither team could score.

The turning point came in the 78th minute when Nam Định Club opened the scoring. From a wall pass by Xuan Son, the ball bounced to Akolo's position, and this forward unleashed a dipping left-footed shot that defeated goalkeeper Y Eli Nie, scoring the only goal of the match.

The final minutes became tense. In the 88th minute, Lucas pulled down Rimario inside the penalty area, initially prompting the referee to award Thanh Hóa a penalty. However, after consulting VAR, the decision was changed to a direct free kick, and Lucas received a direct red card in the 90th minute. Despite playing with 10 men, Nam Định Club still preserved a 1-0 victory. With this win, Nam Định Club ranks 7th with 21 points, while Thanh Hóa Club ranks 12th with 13 points.
