Van Hau points out the reason CAHN defeated Ninh Binh

Van Hau believes that team spirit and high determination helped CAHN secure a crucial victory in round 16 of V-League.

In the highlight match of round 16 of V.League, Hanoi Police Club won 2-1 right on Ninh Binh FC's home ground. The valuable three points against a direct competitor helped Coach Mano Polking's squad widen the gap with Ninh Binh itself to 10 points, thereby strengthening their position in the championship race.

After the match, defender Doan Van Hau thanked the fans who came to the stadium to support both teams. The defender born in 1999 also revealed the important message from Coach Mano Polking before this match. After the 1-2 loss to Hanoi FC in the previous round, the morale of CAHN players was somewhat affected, but the encouragement from the coaching staff helped the team quickly regain focus.

He shared: "After going through a period in V.League without losing, it's true that the recent match where CAHN played at home but lost was really regrettable. And the team's morale dropped a bit. But Coach Polking emphasized that in this match we must strive and be determined to win, or at least get 1 point to have a better spirit for the goal of achieving the highest position."

Besides, Van Hau also talked about his journey back after injury. He admitted that the recovery period was not easy, but he always strives to improve himself day by day to regain his best form. "Hau himself always tries in each match, each training session. When Hau just returned after injury, it was a very difficult period. But Hau always encourages himself that each day he gets a little better."

Speaking further about his motivation, Van Hau affirmed that the desire to conquer titles remains his biggest goal. "For Hau personally, since joining the first team of Hanoi, Hau has ingrained in his mind that every time he plays, he must always strive to win and aim for the highest position. And until now, Hau still does that. No matter which club he plays for, he himself must always aim for the highest position."
