'Messi Ha Tinh' expresses one thing after his first professional match

Young midfielder Le Anh Duc had an impressive professional debut, contributing to PVF-CAND's victory over Long An FC in the National First Division.

PVF-CAND Youth Club's 2-1 victory over Long An FC on March 15th not only secured crucial 3 points but also marked a memorable milestone for young midfielder Le Anh Duc in his first professional appearance.

In the match within the National First Division framework, the 2007-born player was given the opportunity to start from the beginning. Despite being very young, Anh Duc played confidently, contributing to the overall game and helping his team secure an important victory over Long An.

Sharing after the memorable match, the midfielder wearing jersey number 38 couldn't hide his emotions when playing in a professional environment for the first time. “The first thing is that the team secured a full 3 points, so I feel very happy. As a young player competing in the professional First Division environment, initially we felt a bit unfamiliar,” Anh Duc stated.

The player from Ha Tinh also emphasized the coaching staff's role in helping young players gain more confidence. “Thanks to the coaches' trust in us, giving us the chance to play, I am very happy and will strive to improve myself through each match,” he added.

For fans of youth football, Le Anh Duc is not an unfamiliar name. He previously drew attention by shining at the Ha Tinh Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2018 and was nicknamed “Messi Ha Tinh”. Afterwards, this midfielder joined the training system of PVF Football Academy, which helped him develop and win the 2022 National U17 Championship.

Speaking about the nickname associated with him, Anh Duc admitted it is both a pride and a motivation to strive. “I am very happy to be called that. There is indeed some pressure, but I see it as motivation to try even harder on the field,” the 2007-born young talent affirmed.
