Vietnam National Team has officially announced the 23-player squad called up for FIFA Days in March 2026, targeting important tasks including a friendly match against Bangladesh and a clash with Malaysia in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. This list showcases a blend of experienced pillars and fresh talents, forming a notable profile for the national team.

The familiar core continues with established names such as Đặng Văn Lâm, Nguyễn Filip in goal; Duy Mạnh, Xuân Mạnh, Văn Vĩ in defense; Hoàng Đức, Quang Hải in midfield; along with Tuấn Hải and Xuân Son in attack. This is considered the foundation that helps the team maintain stability in gameplay under coach Kim Sang Sik.

The highlight of this assembly is the return of two central defenders Đoàn Văn Hậu and Trần Đình Trọng after a long absence due to injury. Both have shown positive signs in performance, promising to bring necessary solidity to the defense, and this is also their first appearance under coach Kim Sang Sik's tenure.

In midfield, the first-time inclusion of naturalized midfielder Đỗ Hoàng Hên brings high expectations.
