OFFICIAL: V.League relegation team bids farewell to three foreign players simultaneously

PVF-CAND Club has officially parted ways with three foreign players Amarildo, Marco Antonio, and Alain Eyenga, as the team faces a challenging season in the V.League 2025/26.

On its official website, PVF-CAND Club conveyed a message: "PVF People's Public Security Football Club sincerely thanks Amarildo, Marco Antonio, and Alain Eyenga for their contributions over the past period. We wish them good health, luck, and continued success in their future endeavors.".

Among the three departing players, Amarildo left the most significant impression. The forward, born in 1999, played 12 matches and scored 3 goals for PVF-CAND. Previously, he played for Viettel Police in V.League 1, where Amarildo made 21 appearances, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists.

Meanwhile, midfielder Marco Antonio did not leave a strong mark. The player born in 2000 only appeared in 8 matches and did not score any goals. Despite possessing technical skills, control ability, and midfield orchestration, Marco Antonio failed to adapt to the Vietnamese football environment. This was also his first overseas stint after playing in Brazil for clubs like Cruzeiro, Goiás, Operário-PR, and Betim Futebol. He had participated in Brazil's youth teams at U15 and U17 levels but did not perform notably in PVF-CAND.

In defense, center-back Alain Eyenga also did not meet expectations. The player born in 1995, standing 1.90m tall, played 16 matches and scored 1 goal for PVF-CAND. Before joining the club in August 2025, Eyenga played for Quảng Nam Club, making 24 appearances in V.League and scoring 2 goals. With an ideal physique and international experience, the Cameroonian defender was valued at approximately 175,000 euros.

The simultaneous departure of three foreign players occurs amid PVF-CAND ranking bottom of the V.League 2025/26 table after 16 rounds. The team has only secured 11 points, with 2 wins, 5 draws, and 9 losses. The gap between PVF-CAND and 13th-placed SHB Đà Nẵng is just 1 point, but relegation pressure is mounting.
