Vietnamese-origin forward Antonio Moric appreciates senior Đình Bắc, is proud to practice with the Vietnam U23 squad yet aims to pursue his professional development in Europe.
In an interview before today's afternoon training session (March 19) at the VFF Youth Training Center, Moric shared: "I feel very proud and happy to wear the jersey of the Vietnam national team. I'm a bit tired from traveling, but being able to train on the field makes me happy.
When the coach explains, I understand and always try 100% in training sessions. My Vietnamese is still somewhat limited, so communication can be a bit challenging at times.
I am truly proud and happy to be able to wear the Vietnam team jersey and train alongside the Vietnam U23 squad.

I watched the Vietnam U23 team compete in Saudi Arabia, when Cao Văn Bình successfully blocked a penalty kick against South Korea.
The player I admire most is probably Đình Bắc. I think my style has some similarities with him.
When asked about the difference in training intensity between Vietnam and Croatia, Antonio Moric gave a rather surprising observation: "At the U19 level, I see similarities. However, compared to the U23 level, I find the intensity here is higher.
There is a significant difference when playing against players over 23 years old. When facing more mature opponents, everything is very different, from individual ability to tactical thinking.
Regarding the future, Moric shared: "Currently, I think the best for my development is to continue playing and living in Europe. But no one can predict the future. When ready, I might return.
During this training camp, he is assigned to play as a winger and is striving to prove himself in a more competitive environment.

The forward born in 2008 expressed: "I think everything will be fine. After some minor issues, I have adapted well with the whole team.
Antonio Moric, born in 2008 (17 years old), has scored 11 goals after 16 matches this season (8 as starter, 8 as substitute).
In the most recent match held early March against Mladost Petrinja club, Moric's team NK Trnje won 8-0. He contributed 5 goals despite playing only 55 minutes.
Recalling this match, Moric shared: "I had just recovered from a one-week injury, so the coach didn't want to use me in the U19 team. Therefore, I played for the U18 squad. I just wanted to prove to the coach that after the injury, I still perform well. I scored 5 goals in about 50 minutes, and the coach said he was very proud.
