Today, Doan Van Hau officially rejoins the Vietnam national team.

Today, March 23rd, the group of players from CAHN Club will join up with the Vietnam national team, thereby allowing the squad to have a full contingent heading into the two matches against Bangladesh and Malaysia.

The seven players from the police department club were the last to join up, as on March 22nd they had to play a postponed match of Round 13 in the V-League against SHB Da Nang Club at Chi Lang Stadium. With stable form and a significantly superior lineup, Coach Mano Polking and his team secured three points with a 1-0 victory against the home team.

After completing their duties with their home club, Doan Van Hau, Bui Hoang Viet Anh, Nguyen Quang Hai, Cao Pendant Quang Vinh, Le Pham Thanh Long, Tran Dinh Trong, and Nguyen Filip will join up with their teammates today, March 23rd.

Among them, the return of defender Doan Van Hau and center-back Tran Dinh Trong draws attention. Van Hau had been absent from the national team for three years due to a serious injury. Recently, he made an impressive comeback wearing the CAHN Club jersey, scoring one goal and providing one assist after ten appearances across all competitions. Meanwhile, Tran Dinh Trong has also officially been called back to the Vietnam national team after a 3.5-year absence.

Regarding the Vietnam national team, although the full squad is not yet assembled, training sessions are still conducted according to the coaching staff's plan. The group of players who just returned from matches mainly performed recovery exercises, while the remaining players underwent additional tactical drills to enhance cohesion in their play. Forward Nguyen Xuan Son, due to minor pain, also only did recovery training to quickly reach optimal physical condition.

According to the plan, the Vietnam national team will continue to complete its lineup in the coming days, before entering the friendly match against Bangladesh at Hang Day Stadium on March 26th. This will be an important preparatory step for Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team as they aim for the rematch against Malaysia in the final qualifying round for the 2027 Asian Cup.
