Coach Igor Tudor did not attend the press conference after Tottenham Hotspur lost 0-3 at home to Nottingham Forest, due to receiving news of a family member's passing.
The Croatian coach was informed of the loss immediately after the match, forcing him to leave early, leaving the media responses to assistant Bruno Saltor.
Saltor told Sky Sports: "This is a personal matter, a family issue, and I am speaking on his behalf because it is not the appropriate time for Tudor to address it." On BBC, he added: "Igor is absent due to family reasons. We thought it best for him not to attend today's press conference. Everyone respects that."
Aside from the off-field story, Tottenham continues to disappoint with a severe decline in performance. The London club now has only a one-point lead over the relegation group with seven rounds remaining in the season.

Saltor acknowledged the difficult situation: "At this moment, every mistake costs us, every small detail works against us, and that affects the players. You can see how they fought. This is a very tough period, everyone understands that."
He also believed Tottenham played better in the first half but lacked consistency: "We controlled the game in the first half but needed to maintain that. When trailing 0-1, we tried to attack more aggressively with players who had just returned from injury, but things did not go as planned."
After a positive start, Tottenham unexpectedly conceded a goal late in the first half from Igor Jesus. In the second half, Morgan Gibbs-White doubled the lead, before Taiwo Awoniyi sealed the 3-0 victory in the 87th minute after outpacing Kevin Danso. The defeat increased pressure on Tudor, who has yet to secure a win after five matches in the Premier League (earning only one point against Liverpool).
Nevertheless, Saltor tried to maintain optimism: "We are deeply hurt, truly hurt. But the fans today were fantastic, from before the match until after. We must continue, because everyone cares about the club. We are a family and want to escape this situation. I believe 100% that the team can overcome it."
However, Tottenham's path ahead is not easy, as they still face challenging away matches against Sunderland, Chelsea, and Aston Villa in the final stages of the season.
