The controversy between Mbappe and Real Madrid officially concludes with unexpected developments.

Kylian Mbappe has refuted rumors of a misdiagnosed injury at Real Madrid, asserting that he has fully recovered and is ready to return to play.

Kylian Mbappe has officially spoken to quell the debate surrounding his physical condition, completely dismissing claims that Real Madrid's medical team had incorrectly examined his knee. Before the friendly match between France and Brazil, the captain of "Les Bleus" stated that all information about the "serious mistake" was fabricated.

Previously, multiple sources claimed that Real Madrid's medical department made a serious error by conducting an MRI on Mbappe's right knee (the uninjured part) instead of his left knee during winter examinations. There were even reports that the 27-year-old forward was extremely angry about this mistake. However, Mbappe quickly denied it.

Mbappe shared: “The information saying they examined the wrong knee is incorrect. Perhaps I indirectly contributed to the misunderstanding, because when you don’t clarify your condition, people speculate all sorts of things.”

The French star emphasized that his relationship with Real Madrid has always been transparent during the injury treatment process. He stated that he received full support from the team of doctors, physiotherapists, and fitness experts, both in Madrid and Paris.

Despite the media noise, Mbappe affirmed that his care process was entirely professional. Nevertheless, rumors about medical errors led to Real Madrid undertaking a major restructuring of the medical department in January. Journalist Daniel Riolo suggested this wave of dismissals was directly linked to the incident.

Speaking about his recovery process, Mbappe said he regrets nothing and is now focused solely on the present: “I feel very good, both knees are fine. Partly, I also have to thank the club for that,” the forward born in 1998 said.

Currently, Mbappe has fully recovered and is ready to play in the friendly match against Brazil. However, coach Didier Deschamps remains cautious, not yet certain about using the captain for the entire match.

“I am ready to play from the start. The decision belongs to the coach,” Mbappe affirmed. Meanwhile, Deschamps indicated his player could start or come off the bench, depending on tactical considerations.

Mbappe also revealed that seeking a second opinion in Paris was the turning point that helped him correctly identify the issue and establish an effective recovery plan. Now, having reached his best physical condition, the former Paris Saint-Germain star aims to finish the season impressively with Real Madrid before focusing on the World Cup.

“My knee is doing very well. I obtained an accurate diagnosis in Paris and have a plan to return to my best form. I’ve become accustomed to rumors, and that’s part of the life of a top-level player,” Mbappe concluded.
