Vietnam National Team Conducts Light Training After Victory Over Bangladesh

At 10:00 AM this morning, the Vietnam national football team held a light training session at the VFF Youth Training Center. Finalizing the Competition Plan for the 2026/27 Season

The 2026–2027 season will commence with the National Super Cup, scheduled for August 30, 2026. The national championship (V-League) is expected to start on September 4, 2026 and conclude on May 22, 2027.

The First Division is expected to run from September 11, 2026 to May 16, 2027. The National Cup is scheduled to begin on November 6, 2026 and end on May 30, 2027.

Based on the competition framework for the 2026–2027 season, there will be four FIFA Days breaks and one break from mid-December 2026 to early February 2027 to accommodate important plans, including the 2027 Asian Cup held in Saudi Arabia throughout January 2027.

With the above timeframe, after deducting the time allocated for international tournaments as per FIFA and AFC schedules, the remaining time for national professional football competitions in the 2026–2027 season is only 187 days.

The 2026–2027 season has two player registration periods: Period 1: from July 24, 2026 to September 22, 2026. Period 2: from January 25, 2027 to March 15, 2027.
