Thai U23 player Thanakrit Chotmuangpak expresses determination to win ahead of match against Vietnam U23.
Vietnam U23 will face Thailand U23 in the second match of the CFA Team China 2026 friendly tournament on March 28 (14:00). Ahead of the match, midfielder Thanakrit Chotmuangpak of Thailand U23 stated that he has achieved good physical condition and is ready to contribute to the team.
He said Thailand U23 needs to improve after the 2-2 draw with China U23 in their opening match at CFA Team China 2026.

"My personal physical condition is now ready to help the team. In the previous encounter with Vietnam U23, we performed quite well. This time, with some new players added, we are trying to understand each other better and prepare optimally for this match," Thanakrit Chotmuangpak stated.
"We focus on preparing ourselves, while also studying the opponent. We are trying to adjust defensive positioning, coordination within the defensive system, as well as individual technical details, to perform better than before," Thanakrit Chotmuangpak added.
Thanakrit Chotmuangpak said he and his teammates will strive with determination to win: "Coming to China, we are also adapting to colder weather, as well as food that may not suit our taste. But the whole team is still putting in maximum effort. We hope fans will cheer for us, we will do our utmost to secure victory."
Thanakrit Chotmuangpak (born September 1, 2006) plays as an attacking midfielder and winger for Buriram United Club. He developed from the club's own academy and was promoted to the first team from the 2023/24 season. Previously, in 2023, Thanakrit Chotmuangpak trained with Leicester City in England for three months.
Thanakrit made his professional debut in September 2023 and quickly impressed by providing two assists in his first starting match in Thai League 1. Thanakrit Chotmuangpak also featured in the AFC Champions League and was once voted the best player of a round in the Thai national championship.
At the national team level, he has represented Thai youth teams from U17, U20 to U23. With Buriram United, he has won two consecutive Thai League 1 championships.
