Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe has spoken out about the criticism he has faced since joining the Royal club, emphasizing that such pressure is inevitable at the Bernabeu.

During an interview with Telefoot while joining up with the French national team in the USA, the 27-year-old forward candidly shared his views on the scrutiny from media and fans. Mbappe believes that legends like Cristiano Ronaldo and Alfredo Di Stefano also experienced similar situations, so he is no exception.

“At Real Madrid, you must know how to face criticism. It happened to Ronaldo, to Di Stefano... There is no reason I should be an exception. You just need to stay calm, focus, and improve yourself,” Mbappe shared.

Joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2024, Mbappe endured significant pressure early on at the Bernabeu. However, he quickly proved his caliber by finishing the 2024/25 season as La Liga's top scorer and winning his first European Golden Shoe.

Entering his second season, the French striker continued his impressive form by equaling Cristiano Ronaldo's club record of 59 goals in a calendar year.
