Today, March 30th, the head coach of the Malaysia national team will attend the press conference before the final match against Vietnam in the Asian Cup 2027 qualifying round. To prepare for this match, the "Malayan Tigers" arrived in Vietnam on the evening of March 28th and immediately traveled to Ninh Binh.

For this match, the Malaysia national team brought 23 players to Vietnam, including 13 multi-national heritage players such as Dominic Tan, Daniel Ting, Quentin Cheng, Endrick, Ryan Lambert, Nooa Laine, Ezequiel Aguero, and Paulo Josue. Additionally, the Malaysian squad includes several players currently competing abroad, notably defender Dion Cools (Cerezo Osaka club, Japan), Daniel Ting (Ratchaburi club, Thailand), and midfielder Endrick – a player currently playing in V.League for the Ho Chi Minh City Police club.

Compared to the most recent encounter between the two teams in June 2025, Malaysia's lineup has undergone significant adjustments, with seven ineligible naturalized players no longer part of the squad. Nevertheless, the team maintains its core framework with many familiar faces, while also adding new elements such as Muhammad Feroz Baharudin and Muhammad Syahmi Safari.

After the press conference, the Malaysia national team will have an official training session later in the afternoon at Thien Truong Stadium (Ninh Binh).
