Vietnam team familiarizes with Thiên Trường stadium, Xuân Son excited

The Vietnam team had a training session to familiarize with Thiên Trường stadium one day before hosting Malaysia, completing preparations for this routine match against their familiar opponent.

At 5:00 PM today, March 30, Coach Kim Sang Sik and his team arrived at Thiên Trường stadium and quickly began their final training session before the match.

It can easily be seen that the weather conditions and the pitch fully support the Vietnam team, with sunny skies and light wind.

After a few minutes of explaining the training plan, Coach Kim Sang Sik divided the players into groups for warm-up.

All 23 players of the Vietnam team appeared at Thiên Trường stadium this afternoon on March 30, but Văn Khang still had to train separately.

The spirit of the Vietnam team players is extremely high, especially players like Văn Vĩ and Xuân Son, who are part of the Thép Xanh Nam Định club with Thiên Trường as their home stadium.

The Vietnam team's training session lasted about one hour (from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM), while the visiting Malaysia team trained from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

According to the organizers' regulations, journalists were only allowed to work during the first 15 minutes of the training session. After the warm-up ended and the team moved to tactical drills and competitive play, journalists were asked to leave the field.

While Coach Kim Sang Sik aims for the Vietnam team to win 2-0 in the home match, Malaysia's Coach Peter Cklamovski declared that his team will not be defeated.

We are very disappointed with this result, of course. But nothing can defeat us. This has weighed on us for many months, and we have turned it into motivation to unite the team. The team spirit is excellent. We only focus on what we can control… training methods, playing style, and will give everything to win tomorrow.

He called this an opportunity for the team to show their character, as individuals, as a collective, and as a nation.

The team's preparation also received tactical support from naturalized midfielder Endrick Dos Santos, who has played in Vietnam's V-League for many years.

Meanwhile, captain Dion Cools also shared his determination, considering the match against Vietnam as a match of honor: "We always have the spirit to win the next match, regardless of circumstances.

Coach Peter Cklamovski fights for honor with the Malaysia team

We have trained well, are very determined, and want to show our best football of the entire campaign tomorrow.

The 30-year-old player also mentioned a notable statistic that has motivated the team throughout the week: Malaysia has not won against Vietnam away for over a decade.

That is what we want to conquer. This is a difficult time for everyone, but we turn it into motivation. We want to express ourselves and our character.

In the turbulent phase of Malaysian football, one thing is clear: Malaysia will enter the match not with a mindset of being defeated by difficulties, but being tempered by those challenges.

The Malaysia team (ranked 135th in the world) has been eliminated from the Asian Cup qualifiers, but will use the final Group F match against Vietnam (ranked 103rd in the world) at Thiên Trường stadium (Ninh Bình) to prove their worth and regain trust from fans.
