Forward Lưu Hoàng Vân hopes to help Vietnam's U20 women's team secure a spot in the U20 Women's World Cup finals.
This afternoon (30/3), Vietnam's U20 women's national team began their second training session in Bangkok (Thailand) as part of their preparations for the 2026 U20 Women's Asian Cup finals.
In a focused training atmosphere, the entire team maintained high intensity, concentrating on refining technical aspects according to the coaching staff's plan. Alongside strengthening fitness and tactical cohesion, the players were also required to strictly adhere to strategies, aiming for optimal preparation before entering the tournament.
Speaking before the training session, forward Lưu Hoàng Vân stated that the team has prepared thoroughly in recent times: "Vietnam's U20 women's team has undergone very serious training and preparation, following the coaching staff's tactics in the past period to prepare for the 2026 U20 Women's Asian Cup."
Regarding opponents in Group A, Hoàng Vân assessed that China's U20 women's team is a major challenge: "In my opinion, China's U20 women's team is a very strong opponent, perhaps the strongest in Group A. However, recently, Vietnam's U20 women's team has trained very diligently, and the coaching staff has devised countermeasures to prepare for this matchup, aiming for the best possible outcome."
This is the second time Hoàng Vân has participated in the U20 Women's Asian Cup finals. The female player expressed determination to work with the whole team towards a major goal: "This is my second time participating in the U20 Asian Cup finals, so I am very determined to join my teammates in striving to qualify for the World Cup."
Hoàng Vân also affirmed she would give maximum effort if given the chance to play: "My determination is to try to perform very well if I get on the field and strive to achieve the highest goal of Vietnam's U20 women's team."
According to the plan, Vietnam's U20 women's team will continue their training schedule in Bangkok to refine skills, improve physical condition, and morale before embarking on their journey in the 2026 U20 Women's Asian Cup finals.
