The leadership of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) personally visited and encouraged Ngo Hoang Gia Huy after his injury surgery, providing additional morale for the young player to return to the pitch soon.
On the afternoon of April 2nd, representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) directly went to the hospital to visit and encourage the young player who unfortunately suffered an injury during training with the U19 Vietnam national team. This activity demonstrates VFF's close attention to the health and morale of its young players.
Specifically, Deputy General Secretary Nguyen Minh Chau visited Ngo Hoang Gia Huy, who had just undergone surgery for a fracture of the 5th metacarpal bone. The operation was performed at Vinmec Hospital by a team of highly specialized doctors, ensuring the best conditions for the treatment process.
During the meeting, VFF leadership kindly inquired about his health condition, while sharing and encouraging the young player to maintain an optimistic spirit. These words of encouragement not only carried spiritual significance but also gave Gia Huy additional motivation to overcome this difficult period.
Furthermore, the VFF representative emphasized the importance of strictly following the treatment plan and rehabilitation protocol as directed by the medical team. Proper recovery is seen as a key factor in helping the player return to the pitch soon with optimal physical condition.
Ngo Hoang Gia Huy is currently under contract with Ho Chi Minh City FC and was recently called up to the U19 Vietnam team during the recent training camp. This is a period where the national team is reviewing its squad, preparing for important tournaments such as the 2026 U19 Southeast Asia Championship and the 2027 U20 Asian Cup qualifiers. Previously, this player also gained match experience wearing the youth team and first team jersey of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Club.
Gia Huy's injury occurred after about a week of training with the national team, partly related to a previous injury history. However, timely detection and intervention have facilitated a smooth treatment process. With the care from VFF and ensured medical conditions, Gia Huy is expected to recover soon and continue his journey in professional football development.
