Hoàng Hên executed a profoundly meaningful act following his goal against Hà Tĩnh on April 12 at Hàng Đẫy Stadium.

On April 12, Hanoi Club achieved a major victory with a 3-0 score against Hong Linh Hà Tĩnh within the framework of round 18 of V-League. This result helped the capital's team maintain its top 4 position on the standings, and was also a special gift that midfielder Đỗ Hoàng Hên dedicated to a child with leukemia.

Specifically, on April 11, Nguyễn Sơn Tùng – a boy unfortunately diagnosed with blood cancer – had the opportunity to experience being like a real player, interacting, training, and having lunch with members of Hanoi Football Club.

Sơn Tùng underwent nearly 9 years of intensive treatment at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. With determination, resilience, and optimism, Tùng overcame the most difficult phase. However, due to physical limitations, Tùng could not pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer. Therefore, Hanoi Football Club collaborated to help Tùng “turn his dream into reality”.

During this meeting, overseas Vietnamese midfielder Đỗ Hoàng Hên promised to score a goal the next day and dedicate that goal to the boy who had bravely fought a severe illness, celebrating in the style of Jude Bellingham, one of his favorite stars alongside Văn Quyết, Duy Mạnh, and Hoàng Hên himself.

On April 12, Hoàng Hên delivered a brilliant performance against Hà Tĩnh Club. After many efforts, Hoàng Hên scored a goal to increase the score to 2-0 for Hanoi FC. As promised, after scoring, Hên raised both hands to the sky before forming a heart shape directed towards the stands, where the boy Sơn Tùng was cheering excitedly.
