FIFA Director of Media Partnerships, Mr. Jean-Christophe Petit, stated that the organization is delighted to have reached an agreement with VTV. Early preparations will help FIFA and VTV jointly amplify the scale, appeal, as well as the joy and emotions that the FIFA World Cup brings to viewers.

Vietnam Television is the official broadcaster of FIFA, holding a comprehensive media rights system for FIFA World Cup 2026 within Vietnam, including: Television rights across all terrestrial, cable, satellite, and IPTV infrastructures; radio rights; rights on mobile and internet infrastructures (including on social media platforms); and public screening rights.

Mr. Do Thanh Hai, Standing Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, stated: VTV has made thorough and coordinated preparations for a vibrant FIFA World Cup 2026 season across multiple platforms. With a modern production and broadcasting system and experience in deploying major sports events, the organization is ready to deliver the "Live FIFA World Cup Fully with VTV" experience to viewers.

In addition to broadcasting all 104 matches live, programs such as the opening ceremony, closing ceremony, FIFA World Cup 2026 summary content, and 9 companion programs across various daily time slots will also be produced on VTV channels with the highest quality. The organization provides a multi-platform experience including: Live viewing, replay, video-on-demand, and companion programs tailored for digital platforms.
