What did Coach Le Duc Tuan say about Da Nang's risk of relegation in the V-League?

Following the 0-1 defeat against Song Lam Nghe An, Coach Le Duc Tuan openly highlighted the persistent problems of SHB Da Nang in the post-game press briefing.

The tactician stated that the Han River team has created quite a few opportunities recently, but the finishing aspect has not been as effective as desired. “We regularly practice finishing, yet in decisive moments, the players need to focus more to convert opportunities into goals,” Mr. Tuan shared.

Not only facing issues in the attacking line, SHB Da Nang also repeatedly made individual mistakes. Coach Le Duc Tuan admitted this is a major reason causing the team to lose points: “In recent matches, individual errors frequently occurred. In football, mistakes are unavoidable, but this season has seen too many individual errors. This year has truly been very difficult for Da Nang.”

Additionally, weather conditions significantly affected the visiting team's performance. Playing at Vinh stadium under scorching heat reaching 39 degrees, SHB Da Nang had to adjust their playing style. “This was a match where Da Nang encountered many difficulties playing away under harsh weather conditions. Therefore, the team had to proactively play slower and control the match tempo”, he added.

With this defeat, SHB Da Nang officially dropped to the bottom position on the V-League standings, thereby facing a very significant challenge in the relegation battle. Nevertheless, Coach Le Duc Tuan still urged his players not to give up: “We must strive in the last 8 matches. I hope the players focus even more to improve the situation.”

In the next three rounds, Da Nang will have to face a series of strong opponents with high form, such as Nam Dinh, The Cong Viettel and Hanoi FC.
