Tiến Linh unexpectedly praised as a scoring assassin, former coach directly points out reason for goal drought

"After the prolonged losing streak, we and the players sat down together to discuss and devised a plan to change the tactical formation. Today, the players utilized their strengths, plus Atshimene managed to score, so that result was deserved. Regarding today's afternoon match, I also agree with the view that Trọng Hoàng performed exceptionally well."

On the standings, Ha Tinh currently has 23 points and temporarily ranks 9th. The gap between the Hong Mountain team and the bottom-placed team SHB Da Nang (12 points) is quite large - 11 points. Nevertheless, coach Công Mạnh expressed caution:

"All teams except the top group are not safe yet. Everyone is in the relegation vortex. So it's best to break away early, otherwise if it comes to the end of the season, many things could happen that we cannot control," Coach Nguyễn Công Mạnh emphasized.

Notably, when asked about Tiến Linh - his former student at Becamex Ho Chi Minh City Club, coach Công Mạnh said:

“Linh is an assassin and I think he is the best domestic goal-scoring player. It's just that he hasn't been fortunate yet. When he unleashes his ability, Linh will be very dangerous. This is one of the domestic forwards I highly regard,” Coach Công Mạnh shared regarding Tiến Linh's "goal drought" over a long period.
