Thien Khoi FC wins the National 7-a-side Football Super Cup 2026

On the afternoon of April 19, 2026, the National 7-a-side Football Super Cup 2026 match between Thien Khoi FC and XSKT Dak Lak was held energetically at the Hoang Liet Ward Cultural Information and Sports Center field. Ultimately, Thien Khoi FC achieved a minimal 1-0 win to ascend to the champion's throne.

The clash was regarded as a top-level contest between two elite representatives of Vietnamese 7-a-side football. Thien Khoi FC, the absolute champion of 2025 with a double title win at VPL-S6 (Saigon Dragon Beer Cup) and VSC-S5 (Hyundai Thanh Cong Cup), faced XSKT Dak Lak, the runner-up of VPL-S6, an energetic team from the Central Highlands known for their expansive style of play.

Thien Khoi FC fielded a lineup consisting of Tuan Anh, Xuan Tuyen, Anh Son, Xuan Nguyen, Xuan Du, Xuan Son, and Claudecir. On the other side, XSKT Dak Lak utilized Duc Long, Tan Dat, Ngoc Vu, Hoai Van, Cong Dai, Van Duy, and Y Chaly Eban.

In the first half, both teams started cautiously, creating a tightly contested match. XSKT Dak Lak had several notable opportunities, particularly from Van Duy, but failed to capitalize successfully.

Moving into the second half, the game became more open as the Central Highlands team proactively pushed their formation higher, continuously applying pressure on Thien Khoi FC's goal. However, a lack of precision in finishing shots caused Duc Long and his teammates to miss multiple chances, including a situation where the ball hit the goalpost.

While they were somewhat dominating, XSKT Dak Lak unexpectedly conceded a goal. Tuan Anh seized the opportunity to score the opening goal, putting Thien Khoi FC ahead. In the remaining time, XSKT Dak Lak switched to a power-play strategy seeking an equalizer, but could not alter the outcome.

In the final result, Thien Khoi FC secured a 1-0 victory, thereby claiming the National 7-a-side Football Super Cup 2026 title.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan – General Director of VietFootball – praised the professional quality of the match and expressed hope that both teams would continue to perform successfully in the 2026 season, commencing from May.
