Xuân Son scores, Nam Định puts Đà Nẵng in danger

The 1-2 defeat against Nam Định leaves SHB Đà Nẵng rooted at the last position on the league table.

The match between SHB Đà Nẵng and Thép Xanh Nam Định in round 19 of the LPBank V-League 2025/26 was highly exciting as both teams entered the field with great determination. The home team needed points to improve their ranking position, while Nam Định aimed to chase the top group and did not hide their ambition to win away.

Right after the opening whistle, Nam Định was the team that controlled the ball better with clear coordination in the midfield area. However, SHB Đà Nẵng also showed their annoyance with quick and direct counter-attacking situations. In the 21st minute, the first turning point of the match appeared. In the 61st minute, Akoro took advantage of a good opportunity inside the penalty area to score, raising the score to 2-1 for the away team. In the remaining time, both teams had additional opportunities but could not convert them into goals. Ultimately, Thép Xanh Nam Định secured an important 2-1 victory right on SHB Đà Nẵng's home ground.
