The April-May 2026 training camp of Vietnam U19 continues to show a strong imprint from PVF, with up to 12 players called up to the national team, along with the participation of a coach in the coaching staff.
Specifically, Coach Nguyễn Ngọc Duy is the PVF representative summoned to join the Vietnam U19 coaching staff for this gathering. This is seen as a deserved reward for his contributions in youth training work.
At the player level, the list of 12 faces from PVF and PVF-CAND Youth Club includes: Lê Huy Việt Anh, Lương Văn Phương, Khuất Đôn Tùng, Nguyễn Trọng Đức Vũ, Phạm Huy Hoàng, Nguyễn Văn Bách, Hoàng Trọng Duy Khang, Nguyễn Quốc Khánh, Lê Minh Nhật, Đào Quang Anh, Trần Gia Hưng and Nguyễn Sỹ Mạnh Dũng.
Notably, among the players summoned this time, Khuất Đôn Tùng (born 2008) makes his first appearance in the Vietnam U19 team. This is a major opportunity for this young midfielder to accumulate experience and prove himself in a higher-level environment.
According to the plan, the entire team will assemble from April 27 to June 15 to prepare for the 2026 Southeast Asian U19 Championship. Some players such as Văn Bách, Huy Hoàng, Duy Khang and Quốc Khánh will join later as they are still competing in the national Second and First Division leagues.
Having up to 12 players and one coach participating in the national team demonstrates that PVF's training quality continues to be affirmed, and also promises to play a crucial role in the goals of Vietnam U19 in upcoming regional tournaments such as the 2026 Southeast Asian U19 Championship and the 2027 AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifiers.
