Official: CAHN Club extends contract with Brazilian coach until 2028

Hanoi Police FC officially announced the contract extension with coach Mano Polking, retaining the strategist of German-Brazilian descent until 2028.

This is considered a crucial step demonstrating the trust of the Capital club's leadership towards the 1976-born coach, who has contributed to transforming and elevating CAHN since taking over the team at the end of the 2023/24 season.

On the official website, the police sector club stated: "Hanoi Police Club and Coach Mano Polking have officially signed the contract extension, committing to a future at the Capital club until 2028.

The trust and long-term vision between the Club's leadership and Coach Polking form the foundation for the team to pursue important goals in the V-League as well as continental competitions in the upcoming journey."

Under Coach Polking's guidance, Hanoi Police FC quickly regained its stature in the domestic arena. Within just two years, the team clinched the Vietnam National Cup 2024/25 title, won the Vietnam National Super Cup 2025, and advanced to the final of the ASEAN Club Cup 2024/25.

Not only bringing trophies, Coach Polking also helped CAHN establish a clear, modern, and highly competitive playing style. The police sector club thus became one of the formidable forces in the V-League. This season, Coach Mano Polking and the police sector team soar high, leading the standings and are very close to the championship title.
