CAHN extends contract with coach Polking

Hanoi Police Club (CAHN) announces the extension of the contract with coach Alexandre Polking until 2028.

Accordingly, CAHN Club and coach Mano Polking have officially signed the contract extension, committing to a future at the Capital's football team until 2028.

The trust and long-term vision between the Club's leadership and coach Polking is the foundation for the team to aim for important goals in the V.League as well as continental tournaments in the upcoming journey.

In the past, Mr. Polking once coached Ho Chi Minh City Club in the V-League during the 2020 - 2021 period. Subsequently, he returned to Thailand to lead the national team to win the AFF Cup 2022 championship.

Under the guidance of coach Polking, CAHN Club has affirmed its position in domestic competitions. Within just two years, this team has won the Vietnam National Cup 2024/25, secured the Vietnam National Super Cup 2025, and advanced to the final of the ASEAN Club Cup 2024/25.

Before coach Polking was appointed, those who previously held the hot seat included Paulo Foiani, Flavio Cruz, Tran Tien Dai, Gong Oh Kyun, and even Kiatisuk Senamuang.

However, it was only when coach Polking appeared that CAHN Club achieved stability in personnel, playing style, and performance.

CAHN Club is aiming for the LPBank V-League 2025/26 championship and preparing personnel for continental tournaments in the next season, as the team is likely to participate in the AFC Champions League Elite.
