"This is a fantastic result for Hanoi Club. We scored beautiful goals thanks to ball control and coherent play execution. Ninh Binh Club could hardly prevent us from moving the ball into the final third and creating scoring opportunities.

We made it difficult for ourselves by not finishing the match, allowing Ninh Binh chances to score from set situations. They also tried to regain the game and pressured Hanoi in the second half. Their long balls forced us to change our play style. I'm glad the defenders maintained tight spacing."

The 2-3 loss to Hanoi Club narrowed Ninh Binh's lead over their rival to just 1 point. Coach Bae Ji Won still believes Ninh Binh Club can improve performance in the remaining season phase.

In the next round, Ninh Binh Club visits Hang Day Stadium as guests against The Cong Viettel.
