Singaporean referee officiates the National Cup final.

Following their duties in the V-League 2025/26 playoff game, two referees from Singapore have been selected to manage the National Cup 2025/26 final featuring Ninh Binh FC and Cong An TP.HCM, scheduled for 18:00 on June 14 at Ninh Binh Stadium.

According to the latest information, referee Muhammad Taqi Aljaafari Bin Jahari will serve as the main referee, while his compatriot Ahmad A'Qashah Bin Ahmad Al Badowe will handle VAR duties. These two referees just completed their assignments in the playoff match between Bac Ninh FC and PVF-CAND on June 12.

Muhammad Taqi is one of Singapore's top referees. He became a FIFA referee in 2012 and has officiated at the AFC Asian Cup, FIFA U17 World Cup, FIFA U20 World Cup, and notably was part of the VAR team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Meanwhile, Ahmad A'Qashah has been recognized as a FIFA referee since 2013. He has presided over numerous matches in the AFC Champions League, AFC Cup, Asian Cup qualifiers, as well as international fixtures at the national team level.

In this season's National Cup final, Ninh Binh FC enjoys the advantage of playing at home. Statistics show that the ancient capital side has an unbeaten record against Cong An TP.HCM, with two wins and one draw.

In the past, Ninh Binh FC once disappointed their opponents in a penalty shootout after the two teams drew 0-0. The ancient capital side also secured an additional 1-0 victory over the police team.

As per the agreed plan, the tournament organizers will coordinate with the match organizers to hold the awards ceremony for the runners-up and champions immediately after the final ends on June 14 at Ninh Binh Stadium.

The tournament organizers have also requested that the match organizers, Ninh Binh FC, and Cong An TP.HCM work closely with the match supervisor and relevant staff to thoroughly prepare and ensure the awards ceremony is conducted in a dignified, meaningful manner and in compliance with regulations.
