Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem is launching a major restructuring at Ninh Binh FC. as the ancient capital club officially parts ways with all three foreign players after the 2025/26 season. This move is seen as the first step in a plan to build a new squad aimed at contending for the V.League 2026/27 championship.

On June 16, Ninh Binh issued an announcement saying goodbye to the trio of foreign players Gustavo Henrique, Daniel Dos Anjos, and Patrick Marcelino. These players all contributed significantly to the team in the past season. However, the change in personnel is considered to align with the expertise of new coach Chu Dinh Nghiem, who only took over the team late in the season.

Notably, none of the three foreign players the ones chosen by the tactician from Thanh Hoa. Therefore, the mass disposal is seen as apreliminary move for the new coaching staff to actively build the squad according to their own philosophy and tactical requirements.
