Speaking at the opening ceremony, VFF Vice President Tran Anh Tu emphasized that the recent successes of Vietnamese women's football serve as motivation to continue strong investment in youth training. According to the VFF leadership, early talent identification and development play a crucial role in the long-term strategy, helping young players access professional training environments and opportunities for comprehensive growth.

This year's program has received positive responses from localities, clubs, and training centers across the country. Many young players are experiencing Hanoi for the first time, enjoying modern training conditions and working directly with experienced coaches from Vietnamese women's football. This is not only a chance for them to showcase their abilities but also an opportunity to nurture their passion and aspiration to become professional footballers in the future.

More importantly, the coaching staff hopes to discover talents with long-term development potential while motivating them to continue pursuing a professional football career.

According to the plan, candidates will undergo various assessment tests including health checks, physical ability tests, individual skills, competitive matches, and direct interviews. The talent recruitment and discovery program for female footballers aged 2013-2014 is expected to broaden the pool of future players, contributing to building a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Vietnamese women's football in the coming years.
