The team managed by Park Hang Seo has signed a player from Ninh Bình.

Thai media reports indicate that Kanchanaburi Power FC has finalized the acquisition of Brazilian central defender Patrick Marcelino, a player who once represented Ninh Bình in the 2025/26 V-League.

The website Think Curve (Khid Side Khong) reported that Patrick Marcelino is Kanchanaburi Power FC's second foreign player for the new season, following veteran midfielder John Baggio.

Standing at 1.89 meters tall, the center-back moved from Ninh Bình, a club that finished third in last season's V-League. Before coming to Vietnam, Patrick Marcelino gained experience in the Iraqi Premier League and Brazil's Serie B.

With his ideal physique and extensive international experience, Patrick Marcelino is expected to bolster Kanchanaburi Power FC's defense as they aim to compete in the 2026/27 Thai League 2 season.

Notably, Kanchanaburi Power FC is currently managed by head coach Park Hang Seo. The club is actively reinforcing its squad with the ambition of gaining promotion to the Thai League in the near future.

A few days ago, Ninh Bình FC announced the contract terminations of Patrick Marcelino, Gustavo Henrique, and Daniel Dos Anjos.

"Ninh Bình always values the contributions of forwards Gustavo Henrique and Daniel Dos Anjos, as well as center-back Patrick Marcelino. We sincerely thank them for their efforts, dedication, and contributions during their time with the club," Ninh Bình FC stated.
