The players named in the call-up list will arrive at the hotel at noon, following the previously announced schedule.

All 28 called-up players are in good form and physical condition after a break of more than 10 days since the 2025/26 V-League concluded. The Vietnam team will train in Hanoi for 10 days before heading to South Korea for a training camp from July 2 to 14.

During the training camp in South Korea, the VFF and head coach Kim Sang Sik have arranged three suitable friendly opponents for the players to compete in preparation before returning home to finalize the squad for the tournament.

Before participating in the 2026 ASEAN Cup, the Vietnam national team will also have an additional international friendly against Myanmar on July 18 at Thai Nguyen Stadium.

The closing ceremony of the National Women's Football Talent Selection Program, Round 2 (age group 2013-2014), under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (FIFA TDS), took place after three days of serious work.

The ceremony was attended by head coach of Vietnam's young women's teams, Okiyama Masahiko, coaches from the selection committee, representatives of functional departments, parent representatives, and the 55 best candidates who participated in the final selection round.

Coach Okiyama Masahiko praised the professional quality of the candidates in this selection round. According to him, the program went smoothly in many aspects, from weather conditions to organizational work. Notably, throughout the three days, no player suffered an injury.

"This has been a successful selection round. The fact that 55 candidates made it to Round 2 is largely thanks to the contributions of the students, parents, and clubs. The candidates confidently demonstrated their skills in each part of the test," shared Coach Okiyama Masahiko.
