Vietnam national team rookie, naturalized footballer Geovane - Nguyen Tai Loc, states that his summons by head coach Kim Sang Sik ranks among the most unforgettable milestones in his lifetime.
"I feel extremely happy. This is a special moment in my life, so I am overjoyed. Right now, I am just focusing on each day to give my best effort.
Regarding my teammates, I see this as a very united group. I have played with many of the players here before, so adapting has been easier. Therefore, I just concentrate on each day and try to contribute my best. My only goal is to perform well. I will strive to play well and improve day by day.

My family is very happy because they also love Vietnam deeply. This place feels like a second home to me. I will always do my best for Vietnam.
I have known Xuan Son and Hoang Hen for a very long time. We talk every day about the national team, which makes things easier for me. We will train and fight together to help the Vietnam national team achieve the best results.
I see the team as very strong, with many good young players. I play alongside Quang Hai, Hoang Duc, Viet Anh. I get to play with so many players that everything becomes much easier," Nguyen Tai Loc said in an interview before the afternoon training session on June 25 at the VFF Youth Football Training Center.
When asked to try speaking Vietnamese, the Ninh Binh Club player hesitated: "Speak Vietnamese? It's hard, very hard. I need to learn more.
At the moment, Vietnamese is still very difficult for me. I don't really know, but I will try to learn. However, my biggest focus right now remains football. Of course, I will make an effort to learn Vietnamese."
