This crucial win gave Saigon Titans 19 points, allowing them to leapfrog Sahako into second place in the standings, thereby increasing the pressure on the top team, Thai Son Bac.
In the remaining game, Tan Hiep Hung Ho Chi Minh City defeated Young Ho Chi Minh City 4-2. With superior experience and composure, Tan Hiep Hung Ho Chi Minh City quickly took control of the game. In the 12th minute, Quy Toan opened the scoring before Dai Hoc doubled the lead in the 16th minute. Just one minute later, Quy Toan completed his brace, helping his team end the first half with a 3-0 advantage.
In the second half, Le Kien added another goal in the 27th minute to make it 4-0.
