Vietnam national team returns to training field.

The Vietnamese national team will resume training in South Korea this afternoon after a day off. They will continue training in Incheon before their final friendly match against Gangwon FC, a team currently playing in K.League 1, on July 13.

This will be the final test for coach Kim Sang Sik and his players before heading home to prepare for the international friendly against Myanmar and the journey to defend the ASEAN Championship 2026 title.

According to the schedule, the Vietnam national team will kick off their ASEAN Cup 2026 group stage campaign with an away match against Timor Leste on July 24.

With the current squad and thorough preparation, coach Kim Sang Sik and his team aim to successfully defend the ASEAN Cup championship.

Phong Phu Ha Nam wins big in women's national championship.

Phong Phu Ha Nam showed overwhelming strength by defeating Hanoi II 7-0 in an early match of round 5 of the Women's National Football Championship - Thai Son Bac Cup 2026.

In the match played on the afternoon of July 9, Phong Phu Ha Nam quickly controlled the game and opened the scoring in the 7th minute. After a foul in the penalty area, Cao Thi Linh successfully converted the penalty kick.

Just 6 minutes later, Cao Thi Linh completed her brace with a sprint past goalkeeper Hoai Thuong. Nguyen Thuy Linh then scored from the penalty spot in the 26th minute, before Luu Hoang Van made it 4-0 in the 28th minute.

In the second half, Phong Phu Ha Nam's dominance continued unchanged. Ta Thi Thuy scored in the 47th minute, while Tran Thi Lan Anh netted a brace late in the match to seal the 7-0 victory.

The remaining two matches of round 5 take place on July 10. Hanoi I faces Thai Nguyen T&T at Ha Dong Stadium, while Than KSVN takes on Ho Chi Minh City II at Cua Ong Stadium.

Four teams determined for the national U13 semi-finals.

Four teams: The Cong Viettel, Hanoi, Song Lam Nghe An, and Dong A Thanh Hoa have qualified for the semi-finals of the National U13 Youth Football Championship - Yamaha Cup 2026.

In the quarter-finals held on the afternoon of July 9, The Cong Viettel impressed by defeating Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Academy 3-0. Hoang Phuoc, Xuan Cuong, and Doan Chung were the scorers.

Hanoi also showed strength with a 4-1 victory over Cong An TP.HCM. Nguyen Duc Nhan scored a brace, while Nam Cuong and Duy Dat added the other two goals, sending the capital team to the semi-finals where they will face The Cong Viettel.
