Coach Shin Tae-yong receives disciplinary action

The Korea Football Association (KFA) has decided to ban Coach Shin Tae-yong from participating in domestic football activities for a period of one year due to inappropriate behavior during his time leading Ulsan HD. The penalty was issued after an investigation into allegations that he slapped central defender Jung Seung-hyun, an incident that once shook South Korean football.

Sumardji, Chairman of the PSSI National Team Committee, confirmed that the federation is actively working with the Dutch club and expressed hope that Hubner will soon join the team. However, since the AFF Cup is not part of FIFA Days, Fortuna Sittard is not obligated to release the player for national team duty.

Nevertheless, PSSI stated that they have no plans to call up a replacement and still have confidence in the current 26-player squad.
